RESCUE-B is a boat, more precisely a RIB [Rigid Inflatable Boat], conceived and designed to address the needs of specialized emergency medical response and rescue units addressed to a professional market.
The product is a 10m RIB with a fully enclosed cabin, an opening platform that offers easy access to the water, and a functional plan that is designed to facilitate different kind of rescues in the defined scenarios. We are in the process of building the prototype. We have prototyped the rescue area and opening system at full size and already have a scale model of hte whole boat.
This design has been shortlisted for the final jury at iF Concept Design Award 2008 and has been shown at CeBIT in Hannover.
